I’ve been doing some digging into the circumstances surrounding the Galaxy’s sinking and I’m truly puzzled by the weather reports from that day. Reports indicated rough seas, but other boats in the vicinity seemed to manage alright. I wonder if something else might have been at play. Mechanical issues? Navigational error? The loss of Jerry and the others weighs heavily, and I can't help but feel there might be more to the story than what’s been detailed so far. Has anyone else looked into the weather patterns or technical reports from that day? Could this have been avoided?
Has anyone else been following the Galaxy disaster? I was reading about Jerry, the crew member who's still missing. It's terrifying to think how quickly things can go wrong at sea, especially in those frigid waters. Does anyone know more about the safety protocols they had on board or if anything could have been done differently? My heart goes out to his family, hoping they find some kind of closure.
