I keep thinking about the immense courage it must have taken for Tate Myre to confront the shooter that day. Even at 16, he managed to put himself in harm's way for the sake of his classmates. It’s truly remarkable and speaks volumes about the kind of person he was. I can't imagine the heartache his family and friends must be feeling, but I hope they feel some comfort in knowing Tate’s bravery is recognized and remembered by so many. His legacy will surely continue to inspire others, and it's clear that Oxford will never forget their hero. I'm really hoping for justice and change—Tate and the others deserve that at the very least.
I can’t stop thinking about the impact Tate Myre made in his short life. It's clear he was a special young man.
