Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the role of bystanders or indirect witnesses in tragic situations like what happened to Shyanna Hall and Dominique Parchman. It breaks my heart to know that someone might have sensed something was wrong but didn’t know how serious it would become. I read somewhere that neighbors had heard arguments before the incident but didn't feel it was their place to intervene. It’s such a delicate balance between respecting privacy and taking action, but perhaps if more people felt empowered to report domestic disturbances, just maybe tragedies like this could be prevented.
