It's been over a year since that terrible night at Dooley's Tavern, and I still can't get my head around the senselessness of what happened to Julius Bing. I just came across some information about how the footage from that night played a crucial role in securing the conviction of Altman-Tucker. From what I understand, the surveillance footage was quite damning. It apparently showed not only the initial altercation but also the horrifying moment when Altman-Tucker pulled out the gun. Having that evidence must have been incredibly tough for Julius's family to see, but it was essential in painting the picture for the jury and ensuring justice was served. My heart goes out to his family. I can't imagine having to live through and relive such a traumatic night just to see justice done. Julius's children and loved ones have been in my thoughts. Let’s hope they find some comfort knowing that their father's bravery and commitment to keeping others safe led to this verdict, ensuring a violent individual is no longer on the streets. It's a small relief, but I hope it helps in some way.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Julius Bing's case, and one detail keeps sticking with me. It's just unimaginable the ripple effects his loss has had on so many lives. I learned that Julius's kids used to visit him at the tavern after his shifts. It must have been hard for them knowing that's where their dad spent his last moments. My heart goes out to them, imagining how confusing and painful it must be to lose a parent at such a young age. Having a strong figure like Julius ripped away must feel like the ground has just vanished beneath their feet. I hope the community rallies around his family and helps them through this immense loss. ?️ Sending strength to everyone affected by this senseless tragedy.

Has anyone else heard more about the candlelight vigil that was held for Julius Bing? I read that Dooley's Tavern closed permanently afterward, and it's just so sad to hear about the loss of both a life and a community space. Julius was trying to protect someone else that night, and it breaks my heart to think of his children and family having to go through this. The vigil must have been such an emotional gathering, a chance for everyone to come together and remember Julius for the wonderful person he was. Does anyone have any further details on what the community is doing now to keep his memory alive?
