I came across the tragic case of Ciera Wells, and what stands out to me is the heartache her family must be enduring. Just imagining her younger sister witnessing such an unspeakable event is unimaginable. The trauma for someone so young is overwhelming. Ciera's family was just going about their day, something we've all done without a second thought. And the fact that Ciera had just celebrated her 20th birthday—it’s just so deeply unfair. I've been following the case updates, and it's been hard to wrap my head around the sheer randomness of it all. Ciera seemed like she had so much potential, balancing college and work at FedEx. Her dreams were cut short in an instant, and now her family is left to navigate this new reality without her. I’ve seen that a GoFundMe was started to help with her funeral costs, and I truly hope the community can come together to support them in this difficult time. No family should have to endure this kind of pain, and offer any solace they can. Praying for them and for justice to be fully served.
