Hi everyone, I just can't stop thinking about those phone calls leading up to the discovery of Aung Myint Tun’s body. Imagine the distress his wife must have felt, all the way in California, when Htet made that call. It really illustrates how families can be shattered by such tragedy, and how it echoes across distances. I wonder what Htet’s intentions were when he first called his mom – was he feeling remorse or fear? Such a chilling moment must have been incredibly confusing and terrifying for her. My heart goes out to the family dealing with the fallout from this horrible event. It's a stark reminder of how far-reaching the impact of a crime can be, touching even those who aren't directly at the scene. Does anyone know if there’s any support being given to the victim's wife during this difficult time? I hope she has a strong support network around her.
