Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic Hernandez-Landa case from Wyoming, Michigan, and it's just beyond devastating. I can't help but think about the children at San Juan Diego Academy where Joelin and Ayzy went to school. It's hard to imagine what their classmates are going through right now, losing friends in such a senseless act. Schools always talk about being a second family, and I really hope the support they're getting from the crisis team helps even a little. I read that the teachers there were really fond of Joelin and Ayzy, and it makes my heart ache for them having to face their classrooms without these two bright faces. It's tough times like these that schools need our support more than ever, and I'm sure the staff is doing everything they can to help the students process this horrible incident. If anyone's local to the area, is there anything being organized for the school or community that people from outside can contribute to? Sometimes these small acts of kindness can go a long way in helping those affected feel less alone. Sending love to everyone who's struggling with this tragedy.
