I've been following the case of Cortez D'Angelo Owens and can't stop thinking about how terrifying it must have been for his female friend and her young son. It's one thing reading about these tragedies, but it's another when you realize a child was so close to such violence. It's chilling to imagine the lasting impact this could have on him and his family. Bay City isn't used to this level of violence, so I can only assume the community is rattled. It's heartening to see law enforcement working hard to identify the shooter by reviewing surveillance footage. I hope they can provide some justice and closure to those affected. If anyone has any information or footage that could help, I urge you to reach out to the authorities.
