Has anyone else been following the Ostler plane crash story? One aspect that really hit me was the incredible effort Gary made to save others, even in those dire moments. It's tragic to think about how he returned to the cockpit to try to rescue more people. There's something so profound about his final actions—completely selfless. The whole situation is such a stark reminder of how unpredictable life can be and the extent to which one might go to protect their loved ones. Chalon Jones' recollection of her last conversation with Gary makes me think about giving more attention to those seemingly ordinary moments with people in our lives. Anyway, hoping there might still be some kind of solace or clarity for Christa and the rest of the family. It's been on my mind a lot lately.
