Has anyone looked into the conditions of the desert area around Milepost 6 on SR-85? I’m curious about how treacherous it might be for someone traveling on foot. I've read that temperatures can get extremely high during the day and drop significantly at night. Plus, I wonder if that roadside shrine has any local significance or if it's just a random marker. Could it be a landmark that people use when navigating through the area? It sounds like a difficult terrain to cover, especially if you're not familiar with the surroundings. Does anyone know how often this path is traveled and if there are any recent reports from others who might have taken this route?

Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions around the time Esquivel Vargas Mora went missing? I was reading some old weather reports and it seems like the temperatures around Milepost 6 on SR-85 were pretty extreme around that time. The desert can be brutal with super high temps during the day and plummeting at night. I'm wondering if that might have played a role in why Esquivel couldn't go on with the group. It makes me worried about how prepared he might have been, especially if water was scarce. Does anyone know if there have been any updates from search teams or local authorities? I'm hoping they can find him soon.
