Hi everyone, I’ve been following Dominick Ramon Hopson’s case, and there’s a particular aspect that’s really been on my mind. It’s clear from the information available that this was such a senseless act that robbed his family of their beloved son, brother, and father. But something that strikes me is the fact that this tragedy took place on East Barnes Avenue, an area I’ve driven by countless times. It’s chilling to think about what might drive someone to take such drastic actions there. Are there any connections between the suspects, Grant and Marcus Thompson Jr., and that location? Does anyone know if they were frequently seen in the area or if there’s been any previous incidents at that spot? It seems odd that they might choose that location otherwise. More than anything, I keep thinking about Dominick's daughters and how this has impacted their lives. If there is any small part of us that can help with more info or insights into what might have happened, I hope we're able to come together as a community.
