Does anyone have more info on the areas James used to frequent before he disappeared? I recently stumbled upon an old article that briefly mentioned he was quite the outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking. I'm curious if any of those spots around Tonawanda were considered during the initial searches or if they might still hold some clues. Some trail networks can be pretty secluded, and I'm wondering if something might have happened in one of those quieter areas that the public might not be aware of. I hope local hikers and nature enthusiasts keep an eye out, just in case. Every detail counts, even after all these years.

Has anyone heard about the details of James Davern's vehicle post-disappearance? I find it odd that there isn't much information on whether his car was found or abandoned somewhere. It's been 20 years since he vanished, and I'd assume tracking his car would have been a key factor in tracing his whereabouts. Did he take any personal belongings with him, or was his vehicle completely untouched? It just seems like a major detail that could've been discussed more or might have slipped through the cracks. Wondering if anyone has any insights or theories on this aspect of the case.

Has anyone else been curious about the role of James Davern's coworkers in his disappearance? It seems like the investigation primarily focused on his family and local areas he frequented, but I haven't seen much discussion about his workplace. Given that James was well-regarded and didn't seem to have any known issues at work, it's surprising that more hasn't been mentioned about his professional life. Did any of his colleagues notice anything unusual before he went missing or perhaps after his disappearance? Sometimes those we spend our days with notice things that family might not. Just a thought that maybe reopening lines of questioning in that direction could unearth something that was missed initially. What do you all think?
