I’ve been following this case, and I’m really struck by the courage and determination of Jeremy Lampeart’s family during such an unimaginable time. I read that his community is planning a celebration of his life, which seems like a beautiful way to remember all the joy he brought to those around him. It’s clear how much he meant to everyone who knew him - from his passion for the outdoors to his talent in woodworking and gaming. I hope the investigation provides them some solace and answers they deserve. Thoughts are with Arianna and the rest of Jeremy's family as they navigate these tough days ahead. Anyone else from Sturgis who's been to one of these community events or knows how we can help the family further?

Did anyone else find it odd that Cameron Hope was arrested all the way in Gary, Indiana? I mean, what was going on there? It's quite a distance from Sturgis. Makes me wonder if he was trying to hide or if he had ties there. With such a serious charge, it seems too coincidental for him to just be hanging out in another state. It must have been such a nerve-wracking time for Jeremy's family, not knowing if the person responsible for his death would ever be caught. I can't even imagine the relief mixed with the ongoing trauma they must feel now that there's been an arrest. Sending love to everyone who knew and cared for Jeremy. ?

I can't stop thinking about the heavy toll Jeremy's death must have on his young daughter, Arianna. Losing a parent at such a young age is incomprehensibly tragic. It's important for the community to rally around her, not just now but in the long term. I wonder what kind of support systems are being put in place for her. Maybe there are resources or local groups that can help guide her through this immensely difficult time. It’s these innocent lives affected by such senseless acts that remind me just how devastating the ripple effects of crime can be. My heart goes out to her and everyone involved.
