Does anyone else find it strange that there hasn't been any new information released from the Coast Guard about Richard's disappearance? It's been weeks, and while I understand these things can take time, the lack of updates is unsettling. Usually, they'd have some preliminary findings or insights, even if it's just about the search conditions. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but the silence doesn't feel right. Is there something they're not telling us? What do you all think?

Hey everyone, I've been going through some reports about Richard's disappearance near Kake, and something caught my attention. Has anyone else noticed the weather patterns around the time of the incident? From what I gathered, conditions were pretty rough that day with strong winds and high waves. It makes me wonder if the weather played a bigger role in the accident than initially thought. I'm not saying there isn't more to look into, but the weather could have been a significant factor. I'm curious if anyone else has come across this info or has local knowledge about typical boating risks in that area. Hoping to hear your thoughts.

I’ve been digging into the details surrounding Richard's boating accident, and one thing that puzzles me is the weather conditions on the day he went missing. Does anyone have information on what the weather was like near Kake at that time? I've read conflicting reports and am trying to understand how it might have impacted the situation. It's just hard to imagine how quickly things might have changed, and sadly, the sea can be so unforgiving. Also, if anyone knows whether Richard was experienced in those waters, it might give us more insight into what might have happened.
