I've been digging into Archie Manning's story, and something about the lack of information has really stuck with me. It seems like his death was just sort of lost to time, which is incredibly sad. Imagine being Eula and their two children, left without answers or justice. The fact that the investigation didn't leave a strong paper trail might reflect the chaotic environment of the era. It's a stark reminder of how many stories from that time period might never be fully told because of how records were kept—or weren't. I keep wondering if there are any descendants who continue to seek closure or if they, too, have only threads of information to hold onto. It just feels so unresolved, and my heart goes out to them.
