Does anyone have more information about how the community of French Camp has been coping since losing Chief Lucas? It has to be incredibly tough for such a close-knit town to recover from something so senseless. I keep thinking about his wife and young son. It just serves as a reminder of the sacrifices that officers and their families make each day. Is there any ongoing support or memorial set up for them? I imagine that keeping his memory alive might offer some comfort, and it could really help if there's a way for the community, and even those of us following the case, to contribute.
