Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of the missing aircraft near Baranof Island, and I wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind. Has anyone heard about the weather conditions in the area during the time of the disappearance? I’ve read that that region can have some unpredictable weather patterns. It just makes me wonder if the weather might have played a significant role in the aircraft’s disappearance. There seemed to be no distress signal, which is puzzling. Could sudden weather changes have caught the pilot off guard? It would be interesting to know if any search and rescue operations have had to navigate severe conditions while looking for the aircraft. Any insights or thoughts on how weather might affect search efforts?

I’m really curious if anyone knows about the weather conditions around Barnanof Island at the time Joseph and the others went missing. It can get pretty unpredictable near Sitka due to the coastal climate. I’ve read that storms can come out of nowhere there. Did anyone in the area notice anything unusual, like sudden weather changes or high winds that day? Could it have affected the aircraft’s radar or communication systems? It’d be helpful to piece together what environmental factors might have played a role. Any local insights would be great!
