Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the Lake Loper Youth Camp, where Guy's funeral service was held. It seems like a special place, and I can only imagine it must hold so many memories for Guy's family and friends. It's touching that they chose this location to say their final goodbyes. Does anyone know if this camp had a significant connection to him or his family? Maybe he spent time there growing up or worked there at some point?
It seems like such a peaceful setting that might have offered some comfort to those gathered, despite the sadness. This makes me wonder how often locations like this, tied to personal memories, play a role in the grieving process or in honoring someone's life. Thoughts?
Sending love and light to everyone affected by this loss. ?️
Just thinking about how the community came together for Guy's funeral is really touching. It’s clear he was loved by many people, and seeing the list of pallbearers and honorary pallbearers—men who must have been close friends or had a significant role in his life—shows just how deep those bonds went. It's profound how people unite in moments of tragedy to support each other and honor someone they cared about. I can’t imagine what his family and friends are going through. Keeping everyone touched by this loss in my thoughts. It’s sad that we still don’t have more information on what happened. It must be so tough for them dealing with all the unknowns.
