Has anyone else been struck by the lack of CCTV footage or witness accounts in Britton Owens' case? Given how populated Gulfport is, it's hard to believe that there isn’t any significant surveillance footage or even a passerby who saw something that night. It’s got to be incredibly frustrating for Britton’s family to have so few answers after all these years. I just hope that someone, somewhere, remembers something that could provide a break in the case. Britton deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. If there's any chance that someone might still know something, it's worth revisiting any tips that came in around that time. Thoughts?
Hi everyone,

I've been following Britton Owens' case for a while now, and something that keeps gnawing at me is the potential role of witness reluctance in these investigations. We know that Gulfport isn't a huge city, so it's possible that some people know more than they feel comfortable sharing with the police. I imagine it’s terrifying to come forward with information, especially when it involves a violent crime like this. But at the same time, withholding information only prolongs the pain for Britton’s family and friends who are seeking answers.
Is there any discussion about how the authorities can better protect witnesses and encourage them to speak up? It’s just so frustrating knowing there might be people out there who hold pieces of the puzzle but are too afraid to say anything. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Britton; I can't imagine how tough this must be for them.

Hoping for some movement in the right direction soon.
Hey everyone, I've been following Britton Owens' case from Gulfport and I can't stop thinking about how tough it must be for his family not having answers after all these years. One thing that's caught my attention is the role of the local community in this investigation.
I read that the Gulfport police were urging residents to come forward with any information. It makes me wonder how challenging it is for law enforcement to rely on community tips, especially when time has passed and memories might fade. It seems like everyone is eager for closure, but without that crucial piece of information or new witness testimonies, it's like being stuck in a frustrating limbo.
Have any of you seen cases where renewed public interest or social media campaigns have helped bring old unsolved cases back into the spotlight? I'm hoping there's something that can reignite attention and lead to justice for Britton and some peace for his family. They deserve to know the truth, and it feels like the community could play a big part in uncovering it. Thoughts?
