I’ve been going through the details of Ebony Harvey’s case, and something that stands out to me is how she really was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s devastating to think about how her presence on that porch, probably just enjoying a typical Sunday morning, turned into such a nightmare. I can’t even begin to imagine how her family and friends are coping with the sudden loss, especially with her being such a loving mother. It’s frustrating that the shooter hasn’t been caught yet. It feels like these incidents leave a ripple effect – not only taking Ebony’s life but forever altering the lives of her kids, who now have to grow up without their mom. We must continue to push for answers and justice. Hopefully, someone knows something they can share with the Jackson Police Department. Sharing any small details through Crimestoppers could be the break they need. We need to keep her memory alive and support the efforts to find her killer. My thoughts are with her family and friends, as they deserve closure and justice for Ebony.
I've been thinking a lot about Ebony Harvey's case lately and wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind. I keep wondering if there's more we could be doing as a community to support her family and keep her story alive. Even though it's been years, I can't imagine the pain of not having answers or justice for a loved one.
It's crucial for everyone who might have seen or heard something to speak up. Wilshire Avenue isn't heavily trafficked at that time of day, but someone might have noticed a detail that seemed insignificant. Little details can sometimes make all the difference in investigations.
