Hello everyone. I’ve been following the Alscey Hogsett case with a heavy heart. I wanted to talk about something that I think hasn’t been addressed enough in our discussions. Does anyone know more about the security measures, or lack thereof, at the Hartwood Apartments during that time? It baffles me how someone could just approach a car and shoot without being noticed, especially in a residential area. Were there security cameras on the premises, or witnesses who might have seen someone suspicious around that time? I feel for Alscey’s family and friends who are left without answers. It seems like there should be something more to go on, and yet the silence from the authorities is unsettling. I hope they find some closure soon. If anyone in the community knows more or has ideas about how we might help push the investigation forward, every little bit could help.

Has anyone else been following the Alscey Hogsett case in Durant? I can’t stop thinking about how no updates have come out even after all this time. It’s really troubling knowing his family and friends have to continue on without any answers or closure. I keep wondering about the night it happened at Hartwood Apartments. Was Alscey randomly targeted, or could it have been someone he knew? It's hard to wrap my head around the idea that someone would shoot him with no clear motive. Small towns like Durant often feel so close-knit, and yet here we have this tragic loss with no resolution. It just makes me wish there was more we could do to help move this investigation forward. Does anyone have thoughts on why cases like this can go cold even when you'd think there'd be information?
