Has anyone else looked into the background of the area where Dalton was living? Picayune and the surrounding communities in Pearl River County are pretty small and close-knit. It's hard to believe something so tragic could happen in such a setting. I'm curious if anyone has insights into whether the community had any kind of history with violence or if this truly was a shocking and isolated incident. Regardless, my heart goes out to Desiree, Jaxton, and the rest of Dalton’s family. This senseless act must have left them feeling shaken and lost. Knowing what the area was like could help piece together how something so awful unfolded. Any local folks willing to share what they know about the community’s atmosphere around that time?
