Hey everyone, I've been following Andre's case closely, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the reaction of his parents. After Andre was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with non-accidental trauma, Rhiannon Hughey and Teamer Melton fled the state. It's so upsetting to think about them leaving like that. Andre deserved to have people who were there for him, especially during such a critical time. I'm curious if anyone knows more about what they did or where they went after leaving the state. It's hard to understand how a parent could walk away—it's unsettling, to say the least. I can't imagine the pain the rest of Andre's family must be going through, dealing with their tragic loss while also trying to piece together why his parents took such drastic measures.
