I’ve been following the Vicksburg case and something that's been on my mind is the impact on the children. It's truly devastating to think about what they are going through right now. Losing both parents in such a tragic way is unimaginable, and to add to that, the circumstances are so horrific. I hope the community can come together to offer them support and the stability they need moving forward. It’s also important that they have access to counseling and any other resources to help process and heal from such trauma. My thoughts are with these kids and their extended family during this incredibly difficult time. If anyone in the area knows of ways to help or support the family, please share.
