I can’t help but wonder if his connection to the church community offers any clues about his personal life or who might have wanted to harm him. Churches often know about the struggles and conflicts faced by their members, and someone there might have more context about any issues Billy was experiencing. Have any of the locals mentioned whether he was close to the church leaders or if he had been involved in any community events there leading up to his death?
