I’ve been thinking a lot about the confrontation at the party that night, and it's just so gut-wrenching. I can’t help but wonder if anyone saw the tension escalating between Carlos "Lito" Chairez and Judaryl Holloway before it spilled over into tragedy. Was there anyone who tried to step in or defuse the situation? It just seems like if someone could have intervened, maybe things wouldn’t have ended up this way. I truly feel for Lito’s family, especially his young daughter, Madalyn. No child should have to grow up without their parent because of something like this. The young lives lost or irreparably changed because of violence in moments of heated emotion should be a wake-up call for all of us. If anyone from that night could share more about what happened, it might provide some clarity or help prevent something like this in the future. We owe it to Lito and to every victim of senseless violence.
