Hey everyone, I wanted to talk about a local initiative that's really caught my attention in light of the tragic case of Demetress Kelly. I've heard about some neighborhoods in Jackson that are coming together to set up community watch programs and enhance communication lines with local law enforcement. This is all part of an effort to combat the ongoing crime issues we're facing here, like the heartbreaking situation with Demetress. It's inspiring to see people taking action and looking out for one another, especially when justice still seems so out of reach. These community efforts might not replace the need for official investigations, but they foster a sense of safety and solidarity. I'm hoping that with more of these grassroots movements, we can start to see positive changes and support for families who are struggling to find peace. Does anyone else have thoughts on how communities can step up to help prevent tragedies like this?
