I just came across this case and felt compelled to share my thoughts, particularly about Reginald and Michael's friendship. It's devastating to think about two young men, fresh out of school, working together and trying to build their futures, being taken so suddenly. The fact that they both graduated from South Shore High School and were working at the same rail yard really highlights the bond they must have had. It's even more tragic considering how many dreams and plans they must have shared. Friends often become like family, and it's hard to imagine the void left in their circle. For the families, losing them both at once must have been unimaginable. My heart goes out to everyone impacted by this terrible event. If anyone has memories or stories about these two, it would be great to hear more about who they were beyond this senseless tragedy. Keeping their memories alive might help shed light on the brighter moments of their lives.
