Has anyone else been looking into the details around Nikarra Duncan's involvement in Greg Hawthorne's case? I can't get over how strange it is for her to be charged with obstruction and then have her bond revoked because of a previous charge. It makes me wonder what role she might have really played that night. It’s just so unsettling to think there might be more to her connection with Anquanette Alexander. My heart goes out to Greg’s family. The pain they must be feeling is unimaginable and I hope they can find some sense of justice and peace. Does anyone have more info on Duncan's past or any insight into how this might affect the proceedings?
I keep thinking about the role of probation violations in these cases and how that might have impacted Greg Hawthorne's tragic death. Anquanette Alexander was on probation from that 2015 case, and it just seems the system didn’t provide a mechanism robust enough to prevent this from escalating into another tragedy. It's chilling to think that if more stringent measures were in place or more support was provided for rehabilitation, Greg might still be with us. This whole situation has left Greg's family with unbearable pain, and it has surely affected our community deeply. I'm not sure what the answer is, but discussions about it could be a significant step forward in preventing future tragedies. Sending all my love and strength to Greg's family and friends as they navigate through this difficult time. ?
Has anyone else been following the case of Greg Hawthorne from Hattiesburg? I just read about the involvement of Nikarra Duncan and I'm curious about her role in all of this. I know she was charged with obstruction of justice, but details are sparse. Given that her bond was revoked because of a previous charge, it makes me wonder just how interconnected she is with the events that night.
I feel for Greg’s family, having to navigate such a complicated and painful legal process. It must be incredibly difficult to come to terms not only with the loss but also with the layers of the investigation. If anyone has more insight into Duncan’s involvement or any theories about what led her to be charged, I’d be interested to hear them. It's just such a tragic and complex case.
