Has anyone looked into the possibility of there having been a vendetta against either Lakisha or Jeremy that might have made them targets? It’s baffling and deeply upsetting that something so violent could happen with kids and another adult in the house. You’d think that level of risk for the intruders would suggest a strong motive. My heart goes out to Lakisha’s family—it must be so harrowing to still not have answers. It would be incredible if someone from the neighborhood who might be hesitant to talk, reconsiders and shares anything they know with the police. Every small detail might help put this puzzle together.
