I’ve been digging into Gabriel’s case and something that stands out to me is what happened after his deportation in 2007. It's puzzling that there haven’t been any reports of him trying to cross the border since then. It makes me wonder if he might have chosen to settle back in Mexico after all, or if something else happened that we just don’t know about yet. Does anyone have insights on cases where people just vanish like this post-deportation? Is it common for there to be zero attempts to return, or does this suggest something more concerning? Would love to hear thoughts from anyone with similar case knowledge.
