I've been following the case of Alan's disappearance near Lincoln Island, and there's one thing that puzzles me. I read that the search efforts didn't turn up any signs of him, which is so baffling considering the area was supposedly thoroughly combed. Does anyone here know more about the currents around Lincoln Island? I've heard they can be pretty unpredictable and strong. Just wondering if it's possible that the currents could have moved him far from the search area, complicating efforts to find him. If anyone has insights on this aspect of the local geography or past similar cases in the area, it would be great to hear your thoughts.
