Has anyone looked into the sightings of Jessie Curtis Edwards Sr. on that road 30 miles from Holly Bluff? I'm curious about why he'd be out there so early in the morning. Was it an area he frequented or had some connection to from his farming days? I know he was dealing with Alzheimer's, which can cause confusion and make people wander, but it seems such a distance for him to travel without anyone noticing more along the way. Could he have been seeking out a place he remembered from his past? Also, was anything going on around that area at the time that might provide clues? Just wondering if there's something more to explore there. Thoughts?
I was reading about the disappearance of Jessie Curtis Edwards Sr., and something struck me as curious. It was reported that he was seen walking 30 miles away from Holly Bluff early in the morning after he disappeared. That's a significant distance, especially for someone in the early stages of Alzheimer's. I'm wondering how he could have possibly covered that distance on foot in such a short span of time. It just doesn’t seem feasible to me. Could he have gotten a ride from someone? If he did, who would have picked him up at that hour, and why hasn’t anyone come forward with that information? It feels like there might be more to the story of who he ran into on that road. Thoughts?
Has anyone else taken a deep dive into the timeline and location of Jessie Edwards Sr.'s disappearance? I find it really strange that he was reportedly spotted walking on a road 30 miles from Holly Bluff early that morning. How did he get that far, especially with early-stage Alzheimer's? Could he have gotten a ride? There are so many questions about that sighting. Maybe the person who saw him wasn't sure about the exact time or location. I wonder if there are any other locals who remember seeing someone matching his description or any vehicles that might have been in the area around that time. I hope investigators followed up on any CCTV or dash cam footage that might’ve been available back then, but given the rural areas, it seems like a long shot. Still, every small clue counts, right?
