Jessie Curtis Edwards Sr., a 76-year-old resident of Holly Bluff, Mississippi, disappeared on November 4, 2007. On that day, a family member last saw him at his home on Bowie Quarter Road around 2:00 a.m. After the family member fell asleep and woke up four hours later, Edwards was gone. Witnesses later reported seeing him walking on a road about 30 miles from Holly Bluff early that morning, but he has not been seen since.
At the time of his disappearance, Edwards was dealing with early-stage Alzheimer's disease and had been staying with his daughter at night, while spending his days at a nursing home. His wife had passed away a year before his disappearance, and Edwards had spent most of his life working as a farmer. Despite extensive searches, his whereabouts remain unknown, and his daughter suspects foul play may have been involved.
