Hey everyone, I can’t stop thinking about the streetlights (or lack thereof) at the intersection of Summit Street and Higgins Drive where Timothy Jones was tragically murdered. Does anyone know if the lighting situation has been addressed since the incident? It’s hard to believe that in such crucial spots, visibility isn’t prioritized. It's almost as if the darkness provides the perfect cover for such heartbreaking crimes. Poor lighting can make neighborhoods feel unsafe and increase the difficulty of solving crimes like this one. I wonder if improving infrastructure could prevent other families from experiencing the same devastation that Tim’s loved ones are going through. If anyone knows about city council meetings or efforts to address these safety concerns, please share. We all want justice for Timothy and to feel safe in our community.
