I can't stop thinking about the vigil that was held for Jteira Myers. Seeing her community come together to honor her memory was both moving and powerful. It really highlighted how much Jteira meant to those who knew her. I didn't personally know her, but from everything I've read, she seemed like such a wonderful soul—a beacon of light for her family and friends. It's truly devastating to think about how her life was cut short in such a senseless way. It's been years since that tragic night, and the lack of answers must be so hard for her loved ones to bear. I hope that as a community, we can continue to support them and keep pushing for answers. If you were in the area that night and saw or heard anything, even if it seems small, please come forward. Jteira and her family deserve justice. Let's keep her memory alive and do everything we can to prevent further tragedies like this.
