Anyone else notice the lack of media coverage on Shelia A. Moten's disappearance? It's frustrating how some cases seem to get national attention, while others like Shelia's just don't. I found out she had a distinctive tattoo on her face, which should make her easier to identify if sightings come in, but it feels like hardly anyone knows about it outside those directly involved. I get that Baton Rouge has its share of missing person cases, but I can't help but feel that more awareness could lead to new leads. Does anyone have thoughts on why some cases like Shelia's fly under the radar or suggestions on how we might bring more attention to it?

Does anyone else find it strange that even with Shelia Moten's distinctive facial tattoo, there haven't been any credible sightings in all these years? It seems like such a unique identifier that would make her more noticeable to people who might see her. I wonder if the tattoo's description has been widely shared enough in missing person alerts and public notices. I've seen cases where tattoos were a big help in identifying people, so it feels like this could be a key element in finding her or at least getting more information. Does anyone have thoughts on how tattoos impact missing person investigations or how they can affect recognition in these situations?
