Did anyone else notice how the community reacted to Xavier's case over the years? It's baffling to see the strong emotions and divisions it stirred up, especially with the plea deal. I feel for Xavier's family having to endure the legal twists and turns. It must be incredibly hard to see the person responsible getting a manslaughter charge and possibly being eligible for parole after such a senseless act. At the same time, I can't help but think about the younger kids in Columbus witnessing these events. How does this affect their perception of justice and safety in their community? I hope it sparks some conversations about preventing further tragedies like this, focusing more on the choices that can lead to such heartbreaking situations. Sending strength to everyone touched by this case.
