I’ve been following the Benjamin Lott case and something that really puzzles me is the location where his car was found. It makes me wonder why he would leave his black Saturn Vue in a shopping center parking lot five miles from home. Was it a place he frequented, or could it have been someone else who drove it there? It doesn’t seem like the kind of place you’d expect someone to abandon their car unless it was a spontaneous decision or possibly under duress. The fact that it was impounded and no one claimed it earlier raises a lot of questions. Does anyone know if there are any more details about the parking lot? Were there any security cameras in the area? It just seems like an odd spot for his vehicle to be found, and I can’t help but think there might be more to that location.
