I’ve been following the tragic events surrounding William McGee's death, and what's been really concerning is how these cases keep getting delayed. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and pain his family and others affected are going through. The fact that something as horrific as this drive-by shooting was a mistake is just unbelievable. It makes me think about how drive-by shootings and this kind of violence seem to have been escalating in Greenwood back then. It’s such a small community, and these events have definitely shaken it to its core. I keep hoping the legal process speeds up so that McGee's loved ones can find some semblance of peace. Does anyone know if the community is doing anything to support the families affected, or if there have been any changes in local efforts to curb this violence since this wave of incidents? Would love to hear from anyone local or anyone who might have details on how things have been playing out.
