I can't stop thinking about the tragedy in Greenwood, Mississippi, that took away Katrina and Jonathan. Losing two family members in a single night is unfathomable, especially during a moment that was supposed to bring everyone together. My heart aches for their loved ones who have to navigate this nightmare.
I've been following updates on the investigation, and I know many folks here share the same frustration over the lack of progress. It’s unsettling that despite the eyewitness reports and evidence, the assailant remains unidentified. It's important to keep discussing this and sharing any little piece of information we might have heard. Sometimes it's the small details that can lead to a breakthrough.

Has anyone else been following the Pitts case? I’m just baffled by the sheer brutality and timing of the attack. To think that Katrina and Jonathan were gathered with loved ones to say a final goodbye to their grandmother, only to have their lives stolen in such a violent manner. The thought of their family having to endure another tragedy immediately after a loss is just overwhelming. And while there’s been a lot of discussion about the weapon used, it’s puzzling and frustrating that there's still no concrete lead on who committed such a crime. I can only imagine how terrifying it must be for the other family members who were injured and for those who live in the community.
