It's incredibly difficult to process the magnitude of loss with the tragic deaths of Erica and little Jayda Brewer. I was particularly touched by the stories shared during the vigil held at their home. It was a poignant reminder of the vibrant lives they led and the heartbreaking void their absence leaves in the community. Many who attended noted Erica’s unwavering dedication to her children and vibrant spirit, while stories about Jayda’s infectious laughter were shared among friends and family. While the details about the tragic incidents leading to their deaths are still emerging, I find solace in the memories being shared that show how loved they were. It's vital that we continue to support and uplift those who knew them as the investigation unfolds. In such times, communities must come together, not only to seek justice but also to provide solace and strength to those left behind. If anyone has further details about community support efforts or details from the vigil, please share. We need to keep supporting each other during this unfathomable time.

Feeling really heavy-hearted reading about the tragic loss of little Jayda Brewer and her mom, Erica. Just can't wrap my head around how things could escalate to such a devastating point between family members. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to think about what Jayda must have gone through, trying to escape the violence and find safety. I can't stop thinking about the way the community has come together to support each other during this unimaginable time. That vigil at their home must have been filled with so much love and sadness. To everyone who knew Erica and Jayda, my thoughts are with you. I hope justice is served, and those left behind can find some sense of peace and healing as time goes on. Does anyone know if there have been any fundraisers or ways to help the family with funeral costs? I'd love to contribute in some way.
