I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of the community in cases like the tragic death of Jermaine Laville Summage. Living in a small town myself, I can appreciate how everyone knows each other, which can be both a blessing and a burden in situations like this. Coming forward must have taken immense courage, particularly with the presence of individuals like Moore, Jr. threatening them.
This case really highlights the importance of supporting one another and empowering communities to stand against violence, despite the risks. I hope Jermaine’s family can find some solace in knowing their community refused to remain silent, ensuring that justice was served.

I can't stop thinking about the role of the witnesses in this case. It's incredible how quickly the community came together, despite the fear and chaos of that day.
