I keep coming back to Allan Starks' case because of the timing. Does anyone else find it odd that despite being listed in national databases like NamUs (MP70641), there seem to be no leads or even solid theories shared with the public? It’s frustrating how many cases from around that time remain unsolved in Buffalo. With advancements in technology since 2011, you'd think there’d be more to go on. I wonder if there’s hesitance to pursue newer technological methods due to budget constraints or something else. Could old-fashioned tips from the public hold the key here? It's like a puzzle missing the crucial piece, and it’s tough not knowing why more hasn’t surfaced over the years. If anyone is local and remembers anything from May 2011, even the smallest detail might help.
Hi everyone,
I've been following Allan Starks' case and stumbled upon something interesting in relation to Buffalo's handling of its missing person cases. I read that the city has increasingly been using advancements in forensic technology to reanalyze cold cases. This got me thinking — what kind of technological advancements are most effective in uncovering new leads? Is it DNA analysis, digital forensics, or something else entirely? Given that Allan's disappearance doesn't have many details, could these technologies potentially reveal something that was overlooked back in 2011? Would love to hear thoughts on how these tools have made a difference in other cases. Maybe there's hope for some breakthroughs in Allan’s case through these methods.
