I’ve been following Eric Damante Jackson’s case closely, and something that's been on my mind is the safety concerns around that One Stop gas station. It seems like this isn't the first time violence has broken out there. Does anyone know if there have been other incidents in that area? I can’t imagine how terrifying it must be for the residents and business owners around there.
It’s such a tragedy to lose someone so young to violence. My heart goes out to Eric's family and friends. I hope the city takes note and increases security measures or surveillance in high-risk areas like this. It might not bring back loved ones, but it could help prevent another family from going through this kind of pain. What do you all think could be done to make these places safer?
