Has anyone else been following the details around the bonds set for Charles Edward Taylor and Quindarreyon Houzah? I can't wrap my head around how these amounts are decided. $150,000 and $100,000 just seem so arbitrary given the gravity of the situation. We’re talking about the life of a young man who was just starting out. Freddie had his whole future ahead of him, and now his family has to deal with this nightmare. I understand there are legal guidelines for bonds, but it doesn't seem right to put a price on it like this. Maybe it’s my own frustration speaking, but I feel like there should be more transparency and perhaps even community involvement in these decisions, especially for cases that impact so many people. What do you all think? How does this process work in your areas?
