I’ve been thinking about the lockdown at ERDC the day Justin May passed. It’s really unsettling to imagine what his coworkers went through, having to shelter-in-place and all, not knowing what was happening outside. It must have been a very tense and traumatic couple of hours for them. I can’t help but sympathize with his colleagues, especially those who knew Justin personally. It’s always tough when a familiar face is suddenly gone, especially under such circumstances. I hope the company is offering support to those employees who are struggling with this tragedy. It’s so important to have resources to cope with the aftermath of such a shocking event. Anyone here know how they’re handling it over there?
Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussion here closely, and one thing that really stands out to me is how important it is to be respectful and sensitive when we talk about cases like Justin May's. Though early reports suggest it was a self-inflicted wound, I can't help but think about the pressure and stress he might have been under. Those who served in the military, like Justin, often carry unseen burdens, and I wonder if that's something that played a role here.
What truly gets me is thinking about his family and how they're coping with the sudden loss. It's got to be incredibly tough not having the answers right away and grappling with overwhelming grief and questions that remain. I sincerely hope they get the support and love they need during this time. Meanwhile, it's crucial for us to remember the human element in these stories and not jump to conclusions without all the facts.
Sending out love and strength to everyone affected by this tragic loss. ?
Take care,
