Hey everyone,
I wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind since I heard about Patrice Sherrell Harley’s tragic case. I was really struck by how the aftermath left so many unanswered questions about Patrice’s life, particularly her dreams and ambitions. It’s evident from all that’s shared about her that she was looking towards a brighter future, not just for herself but, more importantly, for her daughter Ava too.
Patrice was working as an Admission Coordinator and had aspirations of becoming an esthetician. You can see how dedicated she was to building a better life, and it speaks volumes about her character and drive. These aspirations show a side of Patrice that resonates deeply with those who dream of changing their lives and finding happiness and stability.
With everything I’ve read, I keep thinking about her daughter, Ava. It's important for the community to keep sharing stories and memories so that Ava grows up knowing the amazing person her mom was. These dreams and hopes Patrice held onto shouldn't be forgotten, and it is up to those who care to ensure her legacy is honored.
Let’s continue to remember Patrice for not only her kindness and spirit but also her dreams and tenacity in pursuing them. It's important to shine a light on domestic violence issues while we hold space for healing and remembrance in our communities. Patrice, you are deeply missed.
Does anyone else find it haunting how deeply loved Patrice was in her community? I came across a post somewhere that mentioned how she volunteered at local events and was always ready to lend a helping hand. It truly chills me that someone can be surrounded by love and still fall victim to this kind of tragedy. Often, it’s easy to forget just how prevalent domestic violence is until something so tragic happens close to home. Every time I read about Patrice’s story, I think of her daughter and family, and my thoughts go out to them. I hope young Ava grows up knowing the positive impact her mother had on those around her. Anyone else know more about efforts the community is doing to honor Patrice and bring awareness to domestic violence? It’d be great if we could share and support those initiatives.
