Hey everyone, I've been following the Robert Rumburg case from 2011, and one thing that's been on my mind is the fact that his surfboard was found near Rocky Point, but there were no other signs of him. From what I understand, Robert was an experienced surfer, so it’s strange that he would end up losing his board like that. I’ve read that currents in that area can be quite unpredictable and strong, which might explain why he got separated from it. Could weather conditions that day have played a significant role in what happened? Did anyone read anything about a swell or storm that could have affected the search or rescuers' ability to locate him? Just trying to piece together any additional info! ??
