I've been thinking a lot about the impact that Mohammad Moeini had on the poker community, especially following the tragic events of April 27, 2022. For someone who had such an illustrious career, it's clear he wasn't just about the game—he was about the people. The bond he created with fellow players and the kindness he showed, on and off the tables, left a lasting impression. His win at the 2014 WSOP Circuit in Biloxi is legendary, but it’s his character that truly stands out. Those who knew him from the tournaments talk about his generosity, always ready to offer advice to newcomers or just share a laugh with friends. It's a poignant reminder of how a single life can touch so many others. While we dig through the details of this tragic case, let's also take a moment to remember who Moeini was—a cornerstone in his community, not just in business, but in spirit. Hearts go out to his family and all who knew and loved him.

I've been following the tragic events at the Broadway Inn Express, and it's just so hard to wrap my head around everything that happened. I wanted to take a moment to talk about Mohammad Moeini's involvement in the poker community. I had the privilege of meeting him at a tournament a few years back, and he was just as kind and humble in person as many have described. Beyond his skill at the table, Moeini was known for his sportsmanship and for always encouraging newcomers to the game. It's so deeply unfair that someone who brought so much positivity to both the business and poker communities was taken in such a senseless act of violence. My thoughts go out to everyone affected, especially the families of all the victims. The loss of Moeini, as well as Laura Lehman and Chad Green, is felt deeply by many.
